Craig DeRoche Former Michigan Speaker of the House

What a Week!

Some weeks are busier than others, that’s just the way it seems to work. This week on the scale of busy has been simply off the charts. But in this economy, being busy is a good thing and I welcome it.

The week started with the launch of the InsurancePen.com website, the launch of our marketing initiative in several core website improvements. The insurancepen website got off to a great start and is already receiving calls from faraway places looking to host their insurance group discount programs using this technology. Since InsurancePen is such an innovative product I can’t help but to get excited with each new insurance professional or trade Association that looks to blaze a trail on their own with our assistance. I wish every single one of them well and am proud of the fact that our company is there to help them along the way.

If you visit the DeRoches website or the InsurancePen.com website you will also see updates on several other products and services that are now being offered and that are planned for the new year.

As if running a new business that is seeking to cut a path in several new directions wasn’t enough, my wife and I were also able to juggle Christmas shopping and the somewhat successful potty training of our youngest girl at the same time. Since Phoebe is the youngest of our three daughters I believe it to be her prerogative to drag this out just a little bit!

With this all said the high point of the week for entertainment goes to my alma mater, Central Michigan University for their big win in the Mac championship game this past Friday. Fire up chips! I know that everyone in the Central Michigan University alumni family wishes the team well especially Dan LeFevour in their bowl game and future.
